This is the passenger side door. You can see where they covered the dot matrix but did not extend to the edge of the window. This is more noticeable from the outside of the car than the inside. This is the part of the window that makes contact and slides on the seal when the door is opened. Performance said all M3 convertibles have this same strip along the edge.
